Day 1: Arrival at the hotel, evening meal and overnight stay
Day 2: Transfer to Valle di Bellino and the Rocca Senghi, aerial via ferrata on a south facing exposed wall, 400 m altitude difference, AD (II - III)
Day 3: climbing on secure routes: mainly in the vicinity of the hotel in Valle Po, on Montebracco and in Oncino, and possibly also at Coup di Roure a Sampeyre (bouldering) vertical, 25m SL, V-VII
Day 4: a range of activities other than mountaineering are also available!
Day 5: ascent to Punta Udine or Punta Venezia, I-II, 1000m vertical rise, partly exposed. Rope essential.
A glance at the IGC 106 map shows the magnificent position and vantage points of the north wall of Mount Viso!
Day 6: in the morning, a descent of the Grotta di Rio Martino in Valle Po, an impressive cave with no natural light, fitted with chains – exposed climb. In the afternoon: focussed climbing (see also Day 3) according to the abilities of the participants.
Day 7: ascent of another peak at 3000m with features similar to day 5: M. Granero, P. Roma,
P.Gastaldi- Stops with views over the Re di Pietra! To be agreed according to the experience of day 5.
Day 8: breakfast and departure
Half board drinks not included, in double room and 4-bed room in a two floor apartment, Piedmontese cooking, four courses. Hearty buffet breakfast with cold meats and local fresh cheeses, fruit juice, fruit, eggs.
Packed lunch on the five days with longer excursions, guide fee not included.

Guests must bring harness, helmet and climbing shoes or mountain boots with pitons for climbing, and safety equipment for the grade V- VII climbing routes or mountain routes up to III.
2) A little less serious mountaineering…

Day 2: excursion to the source of the Po and the lakes at the foot of Mount Viso. Circular trek from the Pian del Re to
lakes Superiore, Lausetto, Chiaretto and Fiorenza.
Day 3: trek to the Buco di Viso, the first alpine tunnel (15th century) on the Via del Sale (Salt Road).
Day 4: circular walk from Castello through the Allevé Woods, the largest larch forest in the southern alps, the Bagnour Refuge, Lake Bagnour and Lake Secco.
Day 5: breakfast and departure

3) Groups and guests not taking part in the programme
There is a wide range of excursions available; the maps and guides of our library and the internet, e.g.
www.gulliver.it, provide detailed information on
all recent activities in the area. Paths are well
marked with signs and
trail markers. As a result, anyone with some mountaineering experience will find here an endless supply of action, whether in summer or winter.
